Events
The Chiltern Equine Clinic will be running events in 2010 in aid of the Brooke. Dates will be announced early in the New Year.
Chiltern Equine Clinic is proud to be appointed Team Vets for British Dressage Central Region. This means we are the attending vets at Central Region’s residential training camp, the Senior Home International and the Senior Inter Regionals. We also work in partnership in veterinary training for members, trainers and judges and hold a number of lectures throughout the year.
Our next venture is at the Central Region residential Training Camp at Crofton Manor EC, Hants from 30th April – 2nd May 2010. In our official capacity we are the team vet on site but we will also be taking part in a fun and very different fundraising event for the Brooke on the Saturday evening, 1st May. You will see our vets as you have never seen them before !! We have themed the evening as “Guinea Pig Vets”. It will commence with supper at 7.30pm followed by three of our vets as the Guinea Pigs being coached by the resident trainers – Maria Eilberg, Dan Sherriff & Andrew Gould. A must see !!!! The evening will end with a spectacular Grand Prix Kur from Sarah Jane Elmslie and her wonderful horse, Masterplan.
This event is open to the public for a small charge of £15 including supper. Any donations made will be going to the Brooke, of which Carl Hester is an ambassador. There will also be an amazing Grand Raffle Draw which has some fantastic prizes including a lesson on an Olympic Grand Prix horse, training & other fabulous prizes.

On 26th April 2010 Sarah Randall BVetMed CertEP MRCVS will be presenting a lecture at Model Farm, Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Giles, Bucks on “PSD & the effects of working your horse on a surface”. The presentation commences at 6.30pm. £15 inc.supper. Please contact Kim for a ticket.
During the long harsh winter evenings whilst most people were tucking themselves in and getting ready for bed, our vets Gavin and Ricki pulled on the lycra, turned on the head torches and took to the streets in preparation for the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of the Brooke. Chiltern & Thames Rider Championship
We are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the CT Rider showing and show jumping championships that will be held at Herts County showground on Sunday 12th September 2010. At Chiltern Equine Clinic we have always supported our local equestrian community by sponsoring local pony and riding club competitions. The CT Rider Championship is enormously popular with our clients so it gives us great pleasure to have the opportunity to support our local riders. We would like to wish all of you taking part in the qualifiers GOOD LUCK and we look forward to presenting you with the prizes in September.
